I am learning new editing programs and wide screen filming… my friend lent me all of this expensive equipment… so rambling…anyway… so I spent all day yesterday learning and today am a mental burnt out because of it…I am sitting here with my mouth ajar, daft faced. I’ve had this strange occurrence happening.I have a terrerium of water toads, fire bellied ones. It has a locked screen lid like the other reptile/amphibian cages but due to some unknown as of yet phenomena:
1) The day before i went to see my grandma one somehow escaped ( i didnt see it..no way possible) and came hopping up in between my feet as I sat peeing in the morning. Too tired to figure it out I put him back , checked the locks.
2) As i returned home from vacation and got settled in..yesterday I was putting clothes away in a closet bin when my cat began slapping my ankles.. frustrated i looked down to see one of the firebellies sitting there staring at me with frog eyes. He was still wet from his pond…3 ROOMS AWAY .. wtf? I wonder if it is my grandpas spirit communicating. We always hunted frogs n toads ( pleasure..no killing) and as he lay dying he tapped his head with his fingers, making eye contact with me . This is what we had always done when he had something to tell me later, usually somethig stupid grandmother had done…. but maybe he is reaching through the muddy and rubbery realm of death to ..do what put frogs at my feet? Sounds absurd.. but one can always dream….
