I like how I can write in and feel like the conversation is just between us, when actually there are God knows how many people reading it. I’d forgotten how pretty I was. I havent gone out much in years and have recently started doing so. I love to dress up, the excitement of the lights and noise of the city lures me and another side of me emerges and I step out into a world of possibilities instead of to bed alone. And everyone stares. I had a nineteen year old boy come up and hold a door for me, telling me he loved my coat.
